Rebuked..

HEIDI!

IM glad to hear that Dave is doing good. He's been on the forefront of my mind and Ive been praying for him ( as I have all of you) but him more specically to be able to obtain the things he needs to take care of his family. It seems that the Lord has heard me and for that I am greatful.Eternally so. I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS HAVING A BOY! BAHAHAHAHA! YES! Im excited for him and sarah! IM glad to hear also that you and Tenille could make it down home in Overton. IM again very sorry for the loss of the Mays. They are such great people and my memories often wonder to those times of painting myslef green and the talks me and Mr. May would have ( brent at the high school) such great people. Thank god for the gospel and thank god for them. Also. Thank God that they know and accept the Gospel. There is no greater Joy. Ive seen the gospel change people. Including me while Ive been out here. Im going to tell you this, but im coming back just a little different. Very much the same Talon, but ill be different. Im glad to hear that Teniile is doing well. I have also prayed that they would get this house. How is Mikey Doing? Is he ok? I havent heard from Tenille for a couple of weeks now so she must be pretty busy. MY companion and I....are doing just fine. Once we got the frustration out of the way he's an alright guy. So things are working out. So I can now tell you that I ve been cussed out now! So story time. We tracted into this one guy (Turns out his brother is in the church, but was a convert) And we start talking to him a little bit about what we believe. So its going on nicely. Were having a nice chat. But as time goes on he starts getting madder and madder and were not even saying anything. LOL He's telling us that we ALL basphem the lords name ( by the way he was saying that christs name wasnt christ, but "the word.") and then all of a sudden he starts throwing out the "N" word and telling us how they dont have souls are anything. How they are just property. Now in my head there are two voices talking to me. One says, " Talon just leave. Theres nothing you can say to calm him down." While the other is saying, " How dare this man talk about people like that!" So im keeping pretty quite and after he starts using the "N" word again my compaion is like, " well sir were going to go." Then the man says, " Yeah thats right I said "N" word and you cant say it anymore without getting sent to jail. So you get on your bikes and leave you weak M.F.er's!" So at these point I was just enraged and I say to him, " Sir we believe we are all gods children. And we believe strongly in the commandment to Love one another. Then he goes off and gets Madder! At that point the spirit rebuked me and I got the impression he was saying. Wow Talon. That was stupid. Next time listen to me! hahaha so thats my story. Sigh people in the south. LOL I spoke some spanish! we were tracting and we ran into a trailer park where there were all spanish speakers and I spoke a little not alot but little. LOL that was intresting. I hope you are doing well Heidi. I think about ya'll most of all I think. I miss you guys terribly. But there is work to be donw here in Alabama. And sometimes while Im not sure why im here. I know that Somehow Im needed here for a purpose. So ill trust in the lord and his judgment. Whenever Ive felt down the Lord always sends me something that lifts my spirits. Whether it be how the wind blows that makes me feel like im home in Overton. Or how the sunsets that remind me of my home in Utah. He sends those to me. and I remember all of you and think about how our reunion will be. I cry sometimes just thinking about it. NOT A SAD CRY, but a happy one! I look forward to it! I want you to know that im working Very hard so that the time goes faster. Im coming up on three months this next month. It doesnt feel like it at all. I love you all and send that love to ALL
