HAHAHA! holy crap! I cant believe it! its a gosh dang miracle. Thats what it is. Im glad to hear that your doing well. Yes im getting enough to eat. I just havent been eating a whole lot on my mission...I dont know why. So a story on Gardendale. Its the home of the gardendale first baptist.( they hold, " Classes" on the mormon religion." so that just tells you what im up against. But the area is just booming. We got like 10 new investigators this week and 3 with a baptism date so we are just sifting through who we do have and are trying to baptize the people who are willing to change. So Gardendale will be intresting hahaha. Lots of anti but I can handle it. My companion is from Utah and he is my most favorite companion yet! we are just having fun working hard and laughing the whole time. YES! our church building is right by the temple actually, but the temple is closed on Mondays.......I was pissed but we have a temple trip this next month ( September) by the way ill be turning 20 here in a few weeks. Can you believe it? anyways I was wondering if you could tell me the recipe for the glaze grandpa puts on his lemon cakes....I was wondering. I think I know, but im not for sure. So anyways. Yep im doing well. Im tired,b ut hey. thats to be expected right? hahaha love you dad.

So im just updating you. Im in a place called Gardendale now! Up near birmingham. And its home to one of the most anti-mormon baptist churches.....ever lol. Fist baptist of gardendale. They hold classes on our religion....dumb but anyway. I hope you update my blog and tell them that I am ssending pictures and that im sorry ive been lame. I got a new companion named Elder Paulson and he is my favorite. We have alot of fun and work hard so its good news. Ok just making sure hahaha. Sometimes I dont have control over what I say. ( especially as a missionary) but anyways all is well here! So I have storys for you. Ok so me and elder Van Leeuwen are tracting. While we were tracting down this country road I look to my left and see a CD. I was like Oh cool, " I CALL IT" you have to call things as a missionary. So I run over there and find out its an Xbox 360 game. Want to guess what it was.......Grand theft Auto 4 lol I freaked out lol. Anyway on a more spiritual note. Yesturday I get a call from a recent companion. Elder Reed from when I was down in Wetumpka. So He told me that an Less active member that me and him were working with went to church! I was like freaking out. He said he would never go back and he even bore his testimony from what I heard. I was so happy I almost cried. hahaha. Made me feel good that I was part of , " The Rescue" as President Monson would put it. made me feel really good. This man and I had gotten close so for me it was a big deal lol. Other than that Transfers are a week from today so we will see what happens. Also im in the eighth month of my misisonary service. This December I will be out a year. next month I will turn 20 yrs old. lol time flies when your working hard and having fun right? Does it seem like Ive been gone that long to you? Well thats a loaded question. Your without your manny. Yes I tell people out here that I was my sisters manny and that all sisters need one. lol well love you Heidi. Ill talk to you soon.

So I saw the pictures and WAS SO EXCITED! Now dave just sent me some of him and his son and I just about Wet here in the library. lol I was tearing up and all. Im so happy for dave. He really is like Hyrum Smith to my Joseph Smith. hahaha. This baby is going to change things for him. Thats what he kinda said to me. and im excited for what the good lord has in store for him. So many great and wonderful oppertunities. so many. Im letting you know all is well. and I got the stamps. Did you get to see dad? I heard Kay had to go to the hospital so I hope all is well in that department. Thats all Dad needs is another death in the family. I shudder to think. Anyway. Again im doing fine. all is well. except im a little tired. but that goes with doing misisonary work. Give the girls my love and cameron too. Yeah no worries. Its not like im in dire need right now. Im just taking precautionary action so im not IN NEED you know what im saying? Dang the little buddie isnt born yet? Crap I was hoping he would have been by now. well looks like I have to wait another week lol. Oh so I have some news. This week we were asked to be interveiwed by some guy doing a documentary on.........peaches. Here in chilton County they are renowned for there peaches. So he wanted an outside source to see how they compared and he saw us like two weeks ago riding our bikes and thought we would be perfect. So When the movie comes out......I might be in it and I will recieve a copy of it. So Im having him ship it out to you when it gets done. so yeah. other than that People that I taught in Wetumpka are getting baptized two people I found/taught have been baptized with one up and coming. So Its been good to hear that. I have to tell you about this weird dream I had last night. So simply to put it. Me and Cameron and you and Dad were fighting over something. lol it was weird. There were like "F" bombs being thrown around and everything. hahaha strnage huh? Other than nothing new. except someone is planning on getting baptized this August 6th. Im here! Sorry to hear about Ellie. It had to start sometime right? hahaha I heard about Dave winning at bungie. I was actually bragging to my companion that dave was a good player and if I were there me and him would have won the first time. I miss playing with Dave! but hey somebody has to wove the work along for the Lord right? I also heard about The babay coming. Dave will be fine, like always. Im not worried about it. He has a good solid family to back him too so. The war is won. No need to fear. I might be needing shoes and more pants. lol maybe just 2 pair. shoes because this stupid dog decided to attack me so I kicked him in the mouth and so they are a little torn up but I can still wear them. She couldnt get over the "Authority" issue. Ex: Authority to baptize a.k.a Preisthood. anyways thats how it goes. Ive been really tired this week. like more than most. Its been crazy. I just want to sleep for a million years.....but I cant lol Well I hope the van window gets fixed soon. if your not getting it fixed already. So im just going to get straight to the point. Yesturday we found a 700 dollar phone on the side of the road. Verisions new "Thunder-Bolt" and the screen was broken on it. I was wondering if anyone has "cracked" it. The reason I ask is because my companion is wondering if he is able to fix the screen and enable the service on it when he gets home. Is it possible? We asked the guy at the verision store if that was possible and he said not if it was stolen. Which it probably was seeing as we found it on the side of the road with the screen broken. We figure the theif got mad because the service was canceled and he broke it and chucked it out the window. So I was woundering if it could be flashed so the service could be activated again. My thinking was all you needed was another sim card, but this guy said otherwise. So if you have time can you get the details for my comp? That would be great. Also if you have time. There is an artist called " Ed Allen Johnson" he's on my ipod. he does strickly violin music. The music out here is lame and I was talking to my comp ( who just so happens to be my district leader and he said if he could listen to him he could find out if its "Mission appropriate" so again if you have time. Yes I got the package Thanks :) Yeah it was good to hear from Kyle. Ive been getting more letters from Andrew as well so thats been nice as well. Im still just trucking along here you know? hhaha Yesturday I had to speak in spanish and I felt like I just butchered What I could say. Hahaha it was frustrating. But they were hapyy I was trying I think. They were some random Hispanic family on the road. hahaha so I started to say everything I knew in spanish. LOL anyway. Other than that im fine. Ive been tired alot latley. This transfer is almost over and.....its just stressful LOL! other than that no news. Sorry your week had ups and downs. All that I know is when I have one of those weeks? Yeah I could use some stamps! :) thank you for messaging kyle! I got a letter from him and stuff. So yeah. Hope everything is going well. Other then that things continue to go forward out here. So ive been just trying to work my butt off on trying to get more people to teach out here. Also in my prayers I add that, " Hell will be empty" So that helps motivate me. Hahaha im not saying everyone outside the mormon faith is going to hell. Im just praying that hell will be empty in general. hahaha So whats new with you guys? You guys geochaching? I probably just butchered that word, but you know.....OH! also im learning to speak spanish. On my own. I dont think my mission president realizes how many hispanics there are here in Clanton.So it is what it is. im going to try to get a dictionary today to convert spanish to english or whatever. It was rad hearing from you! Also how is it. Clantons fine. Im just busting mine to save theirs! im tired these days. Somedays I just want to come home! but oh well I manage well! Other than that it has been an uneventful week. Well.....I got into ....a little bit with a baptist minister...I did better then last time! He was asking for it too. and I just left.
